May Day, May Day, May Day!

Do you remember as a little kid picking dandelions and giving them to your teacher and your mom? I do. And then I had the privilege of being the teacher, and then the mom, who received tops of dandelions, mangled violets and occasionally, the picked over flower from my carefully planted garden! I cherish those dandelion tops memories here on May Day. On May 1st you're supposed to leave a basket of flowers for a neighbor, friend and then run away. Here are your May Day flowers!(Gotta run!)

Here are two of my four boys posing in front of my rose garden I planted (three moves ago.) These boys are taking college finals this week. They've grown. I think someone who bought our house dug up all of my roses, but I still have these two tow-headed ones:

Happy May Day!

I love this picture. What cuties--then and now. Their little faces gave me a big grin. Oh, and the roses are nice too. :)

What an adorable picture, Crystal. Do they still have such light blonde hair?

Thanks, Bonnie!

I'll post a grown up photo of the two boys when the one makes it home from college. Jared, the one on the left, is over 6 feet tall with very white-blonde long hair! Jordan,(22) the one on the right, has super short hair and it is more ash blonde. He's also just under 6 feet and the shortest of his brothers--and the youngest is 16.

They grow up fast. Sigh.
