I am right there with you, girl! I personally believe that this is the reason our country and its people are having such a difficult time right now. There are so many forces (Satan at work)trying to take or have taken God out of everything we do......starting with schooling our children. It shows very plainly to me. What I don't understand is why the people in power can't see what is happening.

For me, I will get the "In God We Trust" license plate as long as it is available. He is my shelter, He is my rock, Jesus is my savior. When you are out driving try to notice how many cars sport that plate. I do believe we are the majority. Unfortunately the minority is being allowed to disrupt what the United States of America was founded on.

So sad......

Hi Crystal -

Thanks for a great post!

Did you know that the public school system was established for the express purpose of teaching people to read the Bible? The Founding Fathers understood the Bible was essential to ensure liberty for future generations.

Blessings,
Susan :)

Brilliant post.
It is so good to have all these preambles that thank God all together here.
A neat reminder for me is that whenever I see a coin on the ground, I think "In God we trust."
That happens very often and it is a lovely pointer each time I see a coin.
It is great that each of our coins contains that phrase and I hope that they always will.

Thanks so much, Sue, Susan, Terra, for letting me know how you feel. It's so great when I run across those who are kindred in spirit about we feel about this.

I've been just a little disheartened and you've encouraged ME.

Love all of these examples, too!

Oh, and Susan! Yes, I DID know that as I was a teacher who was in the Christian schools for years and also a school board member of a Christian school. I actually gave a speech and wrote on that during that time.

Our country has always acknowledged God...
